Although we trust that you know what you are doing most of the time, we just want to remind you that if you are going to chat, send notes or post on BMC, please do it responsibly and respectfully. If you have any questions please PM or e-mail the moderators and/or administrators. We asked that you do not share your full name, phone number, or home address with anyone; it is solely at your discretion and if it should be done, it should be done through e-mail or PM. Always keep in mind that not everything everyone says on boards or in forums are truths. Please keep in mind that we aim to be a family-friendly message board, this is important. The following is a list of posting rules that will make your forum experience safer and more fun for everyone. We would like you to share your (black) Mustang experiences with everyone and most of all HAVE FUN!\r\n\r\nBMC has a requirement: As a member of BMC, we take pride that all members who join BMC, own Black mustangs. If you (or someone you know) do not own a black Mustang and wish to join the BMC, please contact the administrator.\r\n\r\nPreliminaries:\r\n\r\n1. No bashing of others, joking around is a different thing. Once again, do it repeatedly, and you will be banned.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n2. Absolutely no impersonating other members or staff is allowed. One strike and you''re out.\r\n\r\n\r\n3. Respect the opinions of all other posters, and do not downgrade someone’s opinion simply because you don''t agree with them. Conduct yourself in a mature and respectful fashion.\r\n\r\n\r\n4. Posts with vulgar language, profanity, or sexual innuendo can be deleted or moved for review by the board moderators and/or administrators, at any time.\r\n\r\n\r\n5. Discussing sexuality and sexual preference is considered inappropriate for this message board. These are mature topics which require a separate venue considering that young children are members and visit the site who read this board. Our position on keeping this message board free from these topics is rooted in the belief that these are private matters and that it is the responsibility of parents, not message board users, to educate their children about sexuality and sexual preference. We are here to discuss (black) Mustangs!\r\n\r\n\r\n6. Any member who publicly slanders the club in an attempt to cause harm to the integrity or credibility, and/or those who run and manage the club, will be immediately terminated, no questions asked.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAs a member of BMC, you have agreed not to post messages that:\r\n\r\n1. Bash or threaten other members or visitors at the Black Mustang Club.\r\n\r\n2. Solicit the real names, phone numbers or addresses of other members, if others have entrusted that information to you.\r\n\r\n3. Denigrate people based on race, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation.\r\n\r\n4. Threaten other members or staff in anyway.\r\n\r\n5. Post extreme sexual content, solicit sexually explicit photographs or text from other members, or link to pornography on other websites.\r\n\r\n6. You also agree not to use the Private Message and/or Live Chat features of this board in an attempt to over-ride the posting rules. If you share any personal information on the message board, in the Live Chat, or through Private Messages, you do so at your own risk.\r\n\r\nPlease note:\r\n1. BMC reserves the right to delete any post that violates the above rules.\r\n2. BMC reserves the right to remove your posts if it is threatening, denigrating or extremely sexually vulgar.\r\n3. BMC also reserves the right to delete your membership and/or ban you from this board for violating the above rules.\r\n4. BMC reserves the right to reprint any post (along with the member name of the person who posted it) from the Board on the site itself.\r\n5. The views expressed in posts on BMC are those of the member posting and do not necessarily reflect the views of BMC or the staff.\r\n6. Classified ads may be posted on BMC, if you buy, sell or trade anything on BMC; you do so at your own risk. The Black Mustang Club (BMC) is not liable for what is sold or traded. Please reference the Trader Rating system for any available information on the member from which you are buying or selling.\r\nAll posts must be on topic . Posts that are vulgar, obscene or profane will be reviewed and will be deleted.\r\n\r\nReporting Abuse:\r\nIf you have observed behavior on BMC that you find offensive, please inform administration and moderators, ASAP and refrain from heightening the situation with participation. When reporting abuse, be sure to copy-and-paste the member name and post in your report, include the link (the complete URL of your browser) to the offensive thread or post, and give a detailed account of your observations and interactions. Email your report to that forum''s moderator(s) and /or administration. Do not react to the offensive behavior in the public forums. The administrator and/or moderators will handle the matter once you bring it to their attention.\r\n\r\n***If you have any questions regarding these guidelines please send a message to administrator or moderators)***\r\nDo not attempt to circumvent any of the boards'' moderation. If someone edits your post, do not edit it back, or publicly dispute the moderator''s decision. Should you disagree with the editing, please address your concerns with that moderator via Private Message.\r\n\r\n\r\nOur goal is to make your stay and experience with BMC both on the board and at out meets as enjoyable as possible. Our Black Mustang family is important to us!\r\n\r\nPlease Enjoy and Make this Fun! Thank you for your cooperation and for joining BMC!\r\n\r\nA note on FREE SPEECH:\r\n\r\nCongress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.\r\n\r\nWe respect the First Amendment and all other Amendments that the Second Amendment defends. However, Black Mustang Club forums are private property and we request that members adhere to all forum policies. It is a contract agreed to by all who become members of Black Mustang Club Forums.\r\n\r\nThose who break forum rules cannot invoke censorship or freedom of speech - a contract broken is a contract broken. If you do not like the rules of conduct or the acceptable topics, seek out a new venue to frequent or start your own board.\r\n\r\n\r\nConduct in Forums\r\nI want to make clear what is expected of the BMC members in this forum.\r\n\r\nLately there has been some less-than-friendly discussion popping up in several threads, and the bottom line is this needs to stop.\r\n\r\nI''m going to adapt the adage, "If you can''t say something nice, say it in a PM". I''m sure you know what I am talking about and this banter-type dialog has no business in public threads and is distracting to the intent of the intial posts.\r\n\r\nWe have a strong, tight-knit group here and I don''t want this petty stuff to tear our family apart. The underlying negativity can be very destructive so please think twice before you post -- and consider how the other members will read it and how they may feel, not just how you feel.\r\n\r\nI am hoping to prevent offending any members who participate in this forum by asking you to please remain positive and upbeat in your posts. This IS supposed to fun, right??\r\n\r\nIf you have any questions, please feel free to email/PM/IM me.\r\n\r\nThank you.\r\nLisa\r\n\r\n\r\nSignature and Avatar guidelines\r\n\r\nAs the Black Mustang Club adds members and gets bigger and better every day, we''ve concluded that it''s time to set up some guidelines regarding the size and content of signatures and avatars.\r\n\r\nThe content guideline is simple. Keep it clean! If it''s something you wouldn''t want a family member looking at, then it''s best to not put that in your signature or avatar. Please refrain from using profanity, sexually explicit, derogatory or inflammatory materials. \r\n\r\nFor example, a pic of you in your stang is fine. A pic of you in your stang giving the middle finger or other inappropriate gesture is not. If you have a picture that you''re not 100% sure of, send it in a PM to any Super Moderator or Moderator and we''ll be happy to assist!!\r\n\r\nAs for size guidelines, we just have a few, and here they are:\r\n\r\nSignature & Avatar Guidelines\r\n\r\nWhether you will be requesting a custom Signature from one of the Photoshop folks or you have one already created, please take a look at the following guidelines regarding Signature images and make sure yours falls within the guidelines set forth by the BMC.\r\n\r\nThese guidelines have been set in place to preserve some consistency in the forums and bandwidth.\r\n\r\nTotal Signature Size (for image and any text)
\r\n
One (1) signature image
\r\n
Members are allowed sigs in the following sizes:
\r\n
500x150 pixels\r\n
550x150 pixels\r\n
600x100 pixel
\r\n
Supporters are allowed 350x100 pixels
\r\n
Smilies in sigs
\r\n
Smilies will not exceed the hieght of a single line of text.\r\n
Members are allowed two (2) smilies.\r\n
Supporters are allowed one (1) smilie.
\r\n
Text
\r\n
Text will not exceed a font size of two (2).\r\n
With Signature Image - two (2) lines of text are allowed.\r\n
Without Signature Image - four (4) lines of text are allowed.

\r\n \r\nAs far as the content in your Sigs & Avatars, for obvious reasons, keep it clean! Please refrain from using; profanity, sexually explicit, derogatory or inflammatory materials, promotion of a store, site or club that is not approved by the BMC Staff. Any questions please feel free to contact Lisa, Chris, or Black_Bullitt.\r\n\r\n\r\nIdeally, we would like to see something with a picture of your Black Mustang in it, and maybe a conservative list of mods you have done to it. But it’s all up to you.\r\n\r\nBy now, you''ve likely noticed that many members have some pretty amazing sigunature graphics. These are courtesy of our resident PhotoShop experts, Jason, Black_Bullitt, MdniteMustang00, and Blackstang. If you have some pictures, get in touch with one of them via Private Message or the Photoshop Request forum, and they can put them together into one sweet looking sig, guaranteed to fit the size requirements.\r\n\r\nWhile we don''t have a specific guideline as to the size of your avatar, the board won''t accept it if it''s too big. Try to stick with the sizes of the "stock" avatars (no larger than 160 x 120 pixels) you see on the User CP screen.\r\n\r\n\r\nFinally, an example of acceptable sizes:\r\n\r\nAvatar:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nSignature:\r\n\r\n\r\nSupporter Signature:\r\n\r\n\r\nThank you!\r\nChris\r\nDirector of Forum Management', -1, 29795, 29);
