That was the casting number on the stock boat anchors I threw in the can after removing them from my now departed 86 GT. What a waste of iron those were !!! :biggrinne

From what I gathered from other sources the E6TE's were designed for the 429 & 460's originally that were meant for Heavy duty applications like Motorhomes(RV's). Why they're probably not listed under my 302/351 section. However... for some unknown reason to me(read: I can't find an answer) Ford stuck E6TE's on the '86 production 5.0's in the first half of the production run and switched back mid run to the E5TE's. Why you find 1986 302's with the E5's and E6's from the factory.
BTW, you can still find some production 5.0's for 1987 with the E5's(they wanted to get rid of the left over stockpile) but they used E7's for the most part on 87's and of course on through '93.

Ya I read too much. :q

That entire list is a list of potential boat anchors. Except for the "BOSS heads"

    1985GT, Black/Grey int. 30K orig. miles. 418W, Gforce T-5, 8.8, 575hp/559tq all motor.SOLD

New project= 1992 black on black notch...getting the 418 from the 85, but revamped.

LOL... ya. You'd have to be very damn lucky to come across a real set of 69 or 70 Boss heads. I'd also make an exception for the GT-40P's if I was in a real pinch to add power cheaply.
