I am excited to announce that we will have a dyno day on Friday, October 17th as part of our 4th Annual BMC Nationals event! We will be at MC Racing for the day (dyno time from 10a-6p) which is approximately 15 miles from our host hotel. The best part is we have a special rate for the BMC Nationals ...
$35 for 3 dyno pulls
($45 if you also want the air/fuel reading)

If you would like to get on the list, please post here. We don't need any pre-payment and the actual payment will be handled with MC Racing on the day of the dyno. On behalf of the Cabinet Members of the BMC, we realize the escalating gas prices and other economic issues that face us today will have an impact on the attendance at the BMC Nationals. However, I would like to make a few comments regarding this event and the things that have gone into the planning of it.
Initially, Lisa took a poll to see what all of you members were wanting for this event. And while I won't touch on many of the items that received high numbers of votes, two of the things many people wanted were Road Racing and Drag Racing. There were 93 votes for Road Racing and 96 votes for Drag Racing.
To that end, Lisa rented the Heartland Park facility which is one of the finest in the nation because we as members told her we wanted that. Today, however, with only 2 1/2 months before the event and only a few days from the "pre-registration discount" ending, we only have 6 members registered for the road course and 8 registered for the drag racing. That's less than 10% of those who voted for them.
So I'd like to encourage any of you who have not registered, to do so as quickly as possible. The cost for renting the Heartland facility was $10,000.00 which is a substantial investment for Lisa to make on our behalf. She does a lot for this club at tremendous cost from her pocket and rarely expects anything from us other than knowing we appreciate what she does. So please, let's not leave her on the hook for something like this. Let's register and enjoy this event knowing the cost's are all covered.
You've all seen the sponsors who are supporting this event and some of them are heavy hitters in the industry. Let's support them, Lisa and BMC by making this the greatest event of the year.

Special thank to Jason and the Graphics Team for a lot of hard work on this! It was a great collaboration of ideas and Jason did an wesome job putting it all together in this design. (Thanks for putting up with me!) Also thanks to Rich for creating the Danni toon used in the logo!

The BMC Arcade has returned to the forums! Since we're on the new forum software, I added the arcade back in here for us to play. Everyone can view the Arcade, but since it's a big resource on our expensive server, only Preferred Members can play the games.
